2017 was a tough little cookie, I’m sitting here trying to think of what exactly made it so hard, but other than 1 or 2 obvious things (hubby’s work situation changing; juggling business and kids etc) – I can’t really pinpoint why I feel glad to see the back of it!
I definitely wasn’t a very consistent blogger in 2017 and I didn’t plan / make enough time for some the things I really wanted to do last year ? but despite all the curveballs, I am able to recognise that there were some really amazing highs during the year, and I just LOVED all the wonderful projects I got to work on!
Here’s a selection of logos, submarks and illustrations from a few memorable jobs – even a custom brush font for a winery!
Can’t wait to see what work opportunities present themselves this year, I am fortunate to be booked up until March already! Aside from work, I have some other exciting ideas on the table for 2018 – one of which involves the recent launch of a project close to my heart, Midlands Women In Business (more about that in a separate post, coming soon – follow MWIB on Facebook and Instagram if you’re keen for business-y motivation and cool content!)
I also really hope to be better at keeping my poor little blog going this year, and to spend more time on making myself healthier, fitter, more mindful and clearer about what I want and where I am going.
I just want to say a very big THANK YOU to each and every one of my clients, and to all of my friends and family for their continuous support – here’s to an INCREDIBLE 2018 for us all and to making cool shit happen!
