Hooray! My little gin collection is growing, thanks to my recent gift from Hendricks, and now this bottle of Malfy that I bought myself for Christmas – I’m seriously be-gin-ing to get into the festive spirit 😉
There’s no denying that it was Malfy’s beautiful branding and bottle that first caught my eye, but let me assure you that this gin tastes exactly as good as it looks!
Made in bella Italia and distilled with juniper berries and five other botanicals from the Italian coast (including coriander, angelica and cassia bark) – it tastes light, refreshing and smooth. The other magic ingredient, as you might have guessed, are coastal grown Italian lemons – some from Amalfi and some from Sicily – that give the gin a fresh and zesty aroma.
“The Malfy bottle is decorated using traditional Italian glass design technique and the stopper is made in Italy from real oak. The Malfy crest is an interpretation of a famous rowing race held between the four ancient kingdoms of Italy each year. Our Malfy blue represents the Mediterranean and the yellow represents the Italian lemons grown on the Coast which gives Malfy the aroma of the zest from a lemon just picked from a tree.”
