Futuracha was originally created by Greek creative agency, Holy, as a free-to-download quirky vector alphabet. Because of it’s popularity, they set up an Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign to transform the typeface into an actual working font AND. IT. IS. MAGICAL!
The soon-to-launch Futuracha Pro comes with alternative versions for almost every letter of the alphabet, and the way it functions is the most fascinating part of all – while you are typing, the font adjusts itself based on the preceding and following letter so that the lettering fits together seamlessly. Like I said, MAGIC! Read more about it’s history, and why the designers decided to bring Futuracha to life on the Indiegogo page here…
The crowd-funding campaign was HIGHLY successful having raised $86,431 USD (the original goal was a mere $4000 USD!) and although now complete, you can preorder a copy of Futuracha Pro (LIKE I DID, whoop whoop!) at a slightly discounted price here: http://holy.gd/futuracha/
Can’t wait to try it out for myself #NerdAlert
