Many years ago I visited the Flagship Patrick Mavros store on London’s Fulham Road and fell in love with the luxury design brand who create incredible African-inspired jewellery, home accessories and pieces of art.
The Mavros design team have recently launched their new iconic Pangolin Collection, a jewellery range crafted out of gold, silver and rose gold and inspired by the Pangolin itself – a nocturnal, termite eating animal characterised by pronounced scales that cover the majority of it’s body – a species that is also sadly, the most trafficked on the planet.
Ten percent of all sales from the Pangolin Collection will go directly to The Tikki Hywood Trust – an organisation that strives to bring awareness and sound conservation practice to the plight of lesser-known and endangered animals globally, including pangolins.
Totally crushing on this brand and it’s beautiful new range – just love the little termite details on some of the pieces – think the yellow gold Haka Necklace is my fave item ♥
