THE BRIEF: to create a fun new look for kids brand Olly Polly to better match it’s current brand positioning – this needed to be contemporary, youthful and most importantly flexible / adaptable to keep up to date with retail design trends
Gen from Olly Polly is a client-turned-friend (love it when that happens!) and having worked with each other for a while now, she allowed me total free reign to get creative with my pitch on this one! I had a strong vision from the start that this logo needed to be hand lettered and bold, cute but not cutesy – simple but significant! Armed with my Apple Pencil and iPad I came up with a number of hand drawn options but this was a clear winner. Flexible in all it’s variations, it lends itself to being used in various colours as required making it the perfect solution for the business.
