If you’ve been following my blogging journey for a while, you might recall that I’ve mentioned Caversham Textiles before on this blog – twice in fact, here and here – so this time round, I’m writing a post to
share show off the fruits of my recent collaboration with them: helping to create a new look for this stunning family run, Midlands-based creative business!
I always call my branding projects ‘a collaboration’ because without my clients input and inspiration, my work may look pretty, but it wouldn’t be very effective or personal. Any designer can create a nice looking logo, a good designer finds ways to extract the right / important information from their clients, that which will help the designer to interpret what is required and to create and communicate accordingly.
Sometimes, you hit the jackpot with a client and this was definitely one of those instances for me! What a pleasure it was to work with Sally on creating a new and authentic look and feel for Caversham Textiles – she gave me just the right amount of inspiration and info, combined with just the right amount of creative freedom and I feel like this was a great example of a seamless project.
The process for this rebrand was so free flowing and enjoyable for me (an important factor in helping me to create good work) and from the get go, we knew that green colours would feature prominently and that the ultimate inspiration, Nature, would play a strong part in the end result – love how it all turned out and so proud to now be part of the Caversham Textiles story in my own special way…
Speaking of which, PLEASE go and read this fabulous post that Sally wrote on the CT website, explaining more about the new look and why it was time for a change: http://www.cavershamtextiles.com/about-our-new-look/
