I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting Durban-based photographer Wilma Towell (a lot of my client work is done remotely) but I already just KNOW she is a genuinely lovely person, and working with her has been an absolute joy on all fronts. Dutch-born Wilma commissioned me to design a website for her up and coming photography business, and I’m super excited about how it’s come out ♥
In all my interactions with Wilma, she has shown patience (she even waited a few months until I had space in my schedule to work with her!) and kindness through her words and feedback; not only has she has been forthcoming with inspiration and ideas, but has also allowed me to exercise my creativity and just do my thing – basically she is CLIENT GOLD. (I imagine working with her on a photoshoot would be equally as enjoyable and fun!)
Wilma’s photography style is light, natural and authentic, and it was essential that we communicated the same vibe to her target audience through the design of her website. Once we’d completed the conceptual design phase (involving briefing, research, planning of content, detailed mockups (see below) and making sure the design of the site carried through Wilma’s pre-existing branding) I called on the sweet talents of Nicola Tweed, web developer extraordinaire, to bring my design to life.
Nicola did a great job as always (big love for my #WorkWife) and I’m very happy to announce that wilmatowellphotography.com is now live – would love to hear what you think?!
